The Role
Are you ready to lead a high-impact portfolio of customer accounts and shape the future of customer success at Kyndryl? We’re looking for a visionary leader like you to take on the role of Customer Unit Leader (CUL)—someone who can drive transformation, orchestrate complex ecosystems, and deliver commercial excellence across an entire customer unit.
In this role, you’ll be the strategic force behind customer satisfaction, growth, and profitability. You’ll personally engage with C-suite executives, deepen relationships, and ensure that Kyndryl’s advise, build, and run capabilities are aligned with industry and regional trends. You’ll be the advocate for your accounts within the broader Kyndryl community, championing their needs and unlocking new opportunities.
But this role is about more than just oversight—it’s about impact. As a CUL, you’ll lead the charge in multi-year account planning, setting growth priorities, allocating resources, and driving Return to Growth initiatives. You’ll be responsible for activating the partner ecosystem to expand market reach and help bring differentiated solutions to customers adding signings, revenue, and profit across your customer unit, ensuring that every account thrives under your leadership.
As a CUL you should ensure all customers in your portfolio have a customer growth plan, that demonstrates a plan to make plan. You’ll be representing Kyndryl in the industry/region through speaking at industry forums, shaping thought leadership, and positioning Kyndryl as a trusted advisor demonstrating external market positioning & eminence
You won’t just manage—you’ll inspire. You’ll coach Customer Partners daily, helping them excel as trusted advisors, expand Kyndryl’s scope, and deliver excellence. You’ll mentor future leaders, foster collaboration across teams, and be a role model for The Kyndryl Way.
Your leadership will be powered by AI and data-driven decision making, using analytics and AI to guide strategy, forecast performance, and develop opportunities. You’ll bring digital fluency to the table, leveraging digital platforms and tools to enhance productivity and engagement. And you’ll master the orchestration of complex ecosystems, aligning cross-functional teams and partners to deliver seamless, high-value solutions.
As a Customer Unit Leader, you will -
Maintain deep industry and regional insight to align Kyndryl’s capabilities with customer needs.
Ensure the right capacity and skills are deployed to deliver quality outcomes across the unit.
Own customer satisfaction across all accounts, including Managed Services and Consult delivery.
Personally engage with C-suite executives to support sales and delivery efforts.
Leverages AI and data-driven insights to guide strategy, enhance opportunity development, and empower Customer Partners to deliver greater value. Champions digital fluency across the unit, enabling teams to harness digital platforms and tools for greater customer impact.
Leads Return to Growth initiatives through bold decisions on new scope and logo pursuits. Activates strategic offerings and sales plays to unlock market potential. Owns the commercial performance of the customer unit, driving signings, revenue growth, and profitability through strategic multi-year account planning.
Allocate go-to-market and delivery resources strategically across accounts.
Set growth priorities for the unit, including strategic offerings, sales plays, and upfront investments.
Drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales execution and forecasting.
Serve as a trusted advisor in IT transformation and operations, enabling long-term stability and innovation.
Demonstrate strong P&L management skills and coach account teams to optimize performance.
Applies Revenue Storm methodology to coach Customer Partners on opportunity development and strategic execution. Champions digital fluency and orchestrates complex ecosystems to deliver transformation and operational stability. Demonstrates strong P&L leadership and shares expertise to optimize account performance.
