Director, Corporate Marketing

Location: New York, NY

UEG is seeking a Director, Corporate Communications to elevate the agency’s profile and strengthen how UEG shows up across the marketing, advertising, sports and entertainment industries.

Working closely with UEG’s CEO and senior leadership, this person will develop and execute strategies that increase awareness of our people, capabilities and work. From industry conferences and executive speaking opportunities to trade media visibility, awards and thought leadership, the Director will ensure UEG is consistently part of the conversations that matter.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how great agencies build relevance and reputation—and who brings the relationships, instincts and initiative to create opportunities rather than wait for them.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and execute UEG’s corporate marketing strategy to increase agency and executive visibility.
  • Identify and secure high-impact conferences, speaking engagements, panels, podcasts and industry events for UEG executives.
  • Build UEG’s presence with influential advertising, marketing, entertainment and business trade outlets, ensuring our work and leaders are consistently visible to key industry audiences.
  • Partner directly with the CEO to develop new ideas and platforms that position UEG as a relevant industry voice.
  • Proactively identify agency stories, cultural moments and industry conversations where UEG has a differentiated perspective.
  • Develop executive thought leadership, messaging and content that showcase UEG’s expertise and capabilities.
  • Partner with internal teams to amplify award-winning work, client successes, agency milestones and talent externally.
  • Lead UEG’s approach to industry awards, rankings and other recognition opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, conference organizers, industry organizations and other external partners.
  • Establish an ongoing calendar and pipeline of visibility opportunities rather than relying on one-off moments.

What We’re Looking For
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, including meaningful experience within an advertising, creative, marketing, entertainment or communications agency.
  • Demonstrated success increasing the visibility and reputation of an agency, brand or executive leadership team.
  • Strong knowledge of the advertising and marketing trade landscape, industry conferences, awards and cultural tentpoles.
  • Existing relationships across relevant media, events and industry organizations are strongly preferred.
  • Highly proactive and entrepreneurial—you see opportunities, develop the idea and drive it through execution.
  • Strong executive presence and the credibility to work directly with senior leadership.
  • Excellent writing, storytelling and messaging skills.
  • Comfortable operating independently and owning both strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Based in the New York area.

Edelman Compensation & Benefits Highlights

The following summarizes recurring compensation and benefits themes identified from responses generated by popular LLMs to common candidate questions about Edelman and has not been reviewed or approved by Edelman.

  • Healthcare Strength — Benefits are described as comprehensive, with health plans commonly framed as a strong part of the overall package. Mental and physical well-being programs are also emphasized as meaningful support.
  • Flexible Benefits — Work flexibility is positioned as a standout, including hybrid routines and a “Work From Anywhere” option for part of the year. Flexible public holidays are also highlighted as adding practical choice to how time is used.
  • Retirement Support — Retirement offerings such as a 401(k) match (and pension-style contributions in some markets) are consistently presented as a solid component of total rewards. This tends to improve overall package value even when base pay feels less competitive.
