Bombora is seeking a Director of Content Strategy to join our growing marketing team and shape and deliver our commercial strategy across solutions and customer segments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive content strategies that align with business objectives and resonate with B2B audiences. This candidate will also bring a true passion for B2B marketing and our key stakeholders data scientists, marketers and sales leaders. In our lean organization, this role will require strategy definition, day-to-day project management, and direct content creation. 

  You will…

  • Design and implement a comprehensive content strategy that reflects our Bombora company brand positioning, differentiators, and reasons to believe to drive brand awareness and consideration across buyers and influencers in our target accounts and market segments, and to deepen affinity and engagement with customers 
  • Design and implement an efficient process to develop and socialize a prioritized quarterly editorial calendar that includes thought leadership, campaign assets and sales collateral aligned to content pillars; manage the quarterly execution of the calendar  
  • Collaborate closely with product marketing, demand marketing, event strategy and execution, design, and sales teams to bring the optimal mix of content to market across the buyer journey (stories, formats, distribution platforms)
  • Infuse SEO and gen AI visibility best practices across the Marketing team. Optimize content for SEO and AI chatbots to ensure maximum visibility with key buyer and stakeholder segments
  • Develop and manage a performance management framework that provides insights into the themes, formats and distribution channels that resonate most deeply with our key audience segments and advance at pace them through the buyer journey
  • Lead a team of internal content creators and external agency and freelance resources to deliver a consistent flow of content that delivers against brand priorities and strategic pillars and reflects our brand voice
  • Stay current on audience/ICP context and requirements, industry trends and competitor and partner activities and leverage these insights to strengthen our content marketing strategy.  

You have…

  • 5+ years of content marketing and broader marketing experience, in B2B tech and data-focused organizations
  • Experience envisioning and creating high-quality content across all key formats e.g., thought leadership articles, event presentations, long-form content, short-form content, marketing campaign materials, and sales collateral 
  • Deep understanding of organic and paid content distribution channels (e.g, Site, Social, Content Syndication, Events). A point of view on what formats perform best in what channels and what channels are most effective with audiences 
  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices and curiosity and early experience in driving visibility with AI-powered chatbots
  • Strong understanding of content management systems (e.g., Highspot, SalesHood), marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot), SEO measurement and optimization tools (e.g, SEO clarity) and website analytics tools (e.g., GA4)
  • A point of view on the most insightful performance management KPIs and metrics for content
  • Experience managing a mix of internal and external resources to accomplish content goals and deliver editorial calendar  
  • Passion for B2B GTM strategies, solutions, and data

Compensation Package

  • The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $120,000 plus bonus. Actual compensation may vary and will be based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and location.

Our hybrid policy offers employees an office for when they want one, or to work from home. We have offices in NYC and Reno, Nevada. Employees who aren't local often travel to see their fellow Bommies during our monthly internal week.
