Location: Arlington Heights, IL

Hours: Full Time - 35 hours per week; Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.

Salary: $70,000/year

Clearbrook is a non-profit, social services agency that is dedicated to providing innovative services, tools and opportunities to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as Autism and Down Syndrome.

As the Director of Community Day Services, you will be directly responsible for the operations and administration of multiple facilities and their staff within the Community Day Services program. You will apply current practices in service provisions to ensure our programs empower individuals to live their fullest lives possible.

What you will do:

• Manage the daily administration, operations, and financial budgets for multiple Community Day Services facilities.

• Ensure all facilities operate in strict compliance with Illinois Department of Public Health and Department of Human Services regulations.

• Hire, supervise, evaluate, and train program staff while utilizing PHI coaching techniques for clear communication.

• Oversee the appropriate upkeep of buildings and grounds by coordinating housekeeping, repairs, and custodial maintenance.

• Maintain strong connections with families, guardians, and community organizations to support proper programming and client needs.

• Implement and update written policies and procedures to ensure seamless service delivery and compliance with funding mechanisms.

• Facilitate effective communication between Community Day Services and Community Living Services or Intermediate Care Facilities programs.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in related field

Experience:

• Minimum: 
  • At least 2 years of related experience
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience
• Preferred:
  • 4 years of related experience
