The Director, Communications, Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) serves as the communications leader for Honeywell Technologies’ global Integrated Supply Chain function. This individual is responsible for developing and executing an integrated communications strategy spanning internal and external communications, executive communications, change communications, leadership visibility, digital communications, organizational storytelling and reputation support.

Reporting to the Vice President, Communications, Corporate and Functions, this individual will serve as the primary communications partner to the Senior Vice President and Chief ISC Officer. The role is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Director will provide strategic counsel, translate business priorities into clear and compelling narratives, and deliver communications that build awareness, deepen understanding and inspire action across Honeywell Technologies’ global supply chain organization.

The role will connect ISC priorities to Honeywell Technologies’ broader strategy and transformation agenda, helping employees understand where the organization is going, why it matters and how their work contributes. The Director will develop cohesive messaging across corporate ISC, business supply chain teams, regions and sites, with particular emphasis on reaching frontline manufacturing employees and equipping leaders and people managers to communicate effectively.

As part of an integrated Brand and Communications function, this individual will work closely with communications Centers of Excellence and business communications partners to align employee and external narratives, identify opportunities for proactive storytelling, reinforce the Honeywell Technologies brand and ensure consistent execution across channels. The Director will also partner with key functions to lead communications for organizational change, transformation initiatives and issues affecting employees.

Fluency in AI, analytics and modern communications practices is essential as this leader helps transform how ISC communications are planned, delivered and measured. This individual will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, strong business acumen and the ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed environment with rapidly shifting priorities.
 


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

•    Lead the development and execution of an integrated communications strategy for the global Integrated Supply Chain organization, aligning employee, executive, digital, change and storytelling programs with ISC and Honeywell Technologies priorities.
•    Serve as the primary communications advisor to the Senior Vice President and Chief ISC Officer, providing strategic counsel on leadership communications, employee engagement, external communications, organizational positioning, transformation, reputation and emerging issues.
•    Translate ISC strategy, operational priorities and business performance into clear, compelling and accessible narratives for internal and external stakeholders.
•    Lead employee communications and engagement programs that strengthen culture, reinforce safety, quality, customer focus and operational excellence, and help employees understand how their work contributes to company performance.
•    Lead the strategy on how to leverage the officer’s presence externally in coordination with the Media COE. 
•    Build communications approaches that effectively reach a global and diverse ISC workforce, including frontline manufacturing employees, office-based employees, regional teams and functional experts.
•    Develop and execute communications strategies for major ISC transformations, organizational changes, leadership transitions, operating-model changes and other significant initiatives, ensuring timely, coordinated and thoughtful stakeholder engagement.
•    Equip ISC leaders, site leaders and people managers with messaging, toolkits, templates, training and guidance that enable effective communication through their organizations.
•    Identify and develop stories for internal and external channels that demonstrate ISC’s impact on customers, growth, innovation, resilience, safety, quality, manufacturing excellence, digital transformation and operational performance.
•    Oversee the strategy, content and execution of ISC leadership meetings, town halls, employee campaigns, recognition programs, digital channels and other key engagement moments.
•    Use stakeholder feedback, channel analytics and business insights to measure communications effectiveness, identify gaps and continuously improve programs.
•    Champion AI-enabled communications practices, tools and analytics that improve productivity, audience relevance, content development, measurement and business impact.
•    Advocate for the Honeywell Technologies brand and serve as a visible brand ambassador across the ISC organization.
•    People leadership. This role will have one direct report. 
 

Qualifications

You must have: 
•    Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate communications or a closely related field
•    Demonstrated experience in communications and executive partnership 
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to develop and deliver executive-level content
•    Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple competing priorities

•    Experience supporting C-suite communications and events in a large, complex, international corporate environment
•    Experience with manufacturing and supply chain, especially with a global lens 
•    Strong project management capabilities with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple events and communications workstreams
•    Intimate understanding of internal and external communications channels, including LinkedIn, intranet platforms and enterprise tools such as Viva Engage, and how to leverage them to promote employee engagement
•    Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to present effectively to senior management.
•    Strong business acumen and the ability to build and navigate relationships at all levels of the organization, particularly at the executive level
•    Self-starter with ability to thrive in a matrix organizational structure where priorities can shift quickly.
•    Strong (AP style) writing skills, with the ability to develop clear, concise messages that align closely with corporate messaging
•    A willingness to challenge the status quo, think creatively, and take intelligent risks in raising the bar on event and communications quality across Honeywell Technologies
