Reporting to the VP of FP&A, this newly created position is a high-impact role for a finance leader who thrives in the high-stakes environment of a pre-revenue biotech. As we prepare for our first commercial launch, you will be working closely with Commercial leadership as the primary architect of our commercial FP&A infrastructure. You won't just be managing a budget; you will be helping build the revenue models, gross-to-net (GTN) frameworks, and support commercial operations to define our success from day one.
Duties/Responsibilities
Build the Revenue Engine: Develop our first sophisticated, patient-based "top-down/bottom-up" revenue models.
Launch Strategy & Spend: Lead FP&A planning for the Commercial build-out Gross-to-Net (GTN) Framework: Establish the initial FP&A model and forecasting framework for rebates, chargebacks, and co-pay assistance—critical for our first reported earnings.
Market Access Partnership: Partner with the Access team to model scenarios for payer contracting, Medicaid/Medicare mandates, and 340B impact.
Forecast Management: Provide the C-suite with clear visibility into revenue projections vs. actuals to ensure insights to help drive sales performance.
Education / Certifications
- Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.
Experience/Requirements
- Experience: 8–12 years in Finance/Accounting, with a heavy emphasis on Biotech Launch Readiness. You’ve seen a drug go from Phase III to the shelf.
- The "Startup" Mindset: You are comfortable with ambiguity. You enjoy building your own spreadsheets and processes from scratch.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of US drug pricing, the buy-and-bill vs. specialty pharmacy models, and GTN accrual methodology.
- Influence: The ability to push back on Commercial leadership with data-driven insights to ensure spend is disciplined and ROI-focused.

The base salary for this position is expected to range between $210,261.00 - $256,985.00 USD per year.The salary offered is determined based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant education and training, overall related experience, specialized, rare or in-demand skill sets, internal comparators and other business needs. Upon joining Intellia, your salary will be reviewed periodically and additional factors such as time in role and performance will be considered. Intellia may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
Additional compensation includes a performance-based annual cash bonus, a new hire equity grant, and eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards the value of which are determined annually at the Company’s discretion.
