Director of Client Relationships

Remote | Minimum 5 days per month in person

Who We Are
alooola® helps physicians and corporate employees manage their entire financial picture in one place: investments, retirement planning, spending, and insurance. We pair a modern mobile app with real advisory expertise.

We’re backed by Glen Eagle, a 30-year-old advisory firm with over $1B in assets under management. We’re privately held, profitable, and have no outside investors. alooola currently manages $65M in assets and is growing quickly.

What You’ll Do
This is a relationship-first role with a business development engine behind it. You’ll serve as the main point of contact for an established client base while growing our corporate retirement plan (401(k)) business nationwide.

Your first 90 days

  • Take ownership of 150 to 200 existing client relationships and set up calls or Zoom meetings with each over the coming year
  • Visit 5 to 8 corporate 401(k) clients in person to review their plans with leadership
  • Connect with plan participants to help them fine-tune their retirement allocations and reach other financial goals
  • Begin building a nationwide pipeline of companies that could benefit from a 401(k) fee review

Ongoing

  • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and first conversations through fee review, proposal, close, and handoff to our plan design and onboarding team
  • Meet with clients and plan participants, virtually and in person
  • Partner with our advisory and plan design team to make sure every proposal is one we can deliver on
  • Keep client notes, tasks, and your pipeline organized in our CRM

What You Bring

  • Experience selling to small and mid-sized businesses, ideally in retirement plans, group benefits, payroll, or another B2B financial or insurance space
  • A consultative approach. Our sale is “let us show you the math,” and the goal is a long-term relationship
  • Confidence representing the company in person, whether that’s a boardroom or a conference floor
  • Strong organization and follow-through
  • Resilience when a deal doesn’t land
  • Clear communication, a strong work ethic, and high integrity
  • Self-motivation and comfort working independently

Bonus Points

  • Experience with 401(k)/403(b) plans, PEO, payroll, or group benefits
  • Relationships with CPAs, benefits consultants, or attorneys
  • Familiarity with medical or professional practices
  • Series 65, or willingness to obtain it
  • Background in a regulated industry (RIA, broker-dealer, insurance)
  • Experience with Redtail CRM

How We Work

  • Remote, with a minimum of 5 days per month in person at our Kingston, NJ office (near Princeton) or visiting clients
  • Informal, high-trust culture. We share wins and flag roadblocks as they come up

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $75,000
  • Bonus based on the assets of the clients you serve and new assets you bring in
  • Year 1 on-target earnings (OTE): $85,000 to $100,000
  • Year 3 OTE potential: $120,000 to $150,000
  • Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and paid holidays

Is This You?
If you love building trust quickly, enjoy being in front of clients, and want to help shape a growing fintech-backed advisory firm, we’d love to hear from you.

No recruiters or staffing agencies, please. We’ll share all updates by email, so please, no phone calls or status inquiries.
