Responsibilities

Core responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the below:

Core responsibilities

  • Market and sell Shapiro+Raj’s capabilities to new and existing clients within a defined industry.
  • Lead all aspects of the sales and business development processes, utilizing best practices, including building a pipeline and driving qualified sales opportunities.
  • Strengthen current relationships and develop new contacts with existing clients.
  • Cultivate business with net new/prospective clients.
  • Collaborate successfully with all internal and business partner stakeholders to deliver sales goals and client engagements per expectations.
  • Identify key decision-makers and develop strategic relationships to drive revenue.
  • Maintain the CRM (HubSpot) and ERP (NetSuite) systems with correct and updated information on business contacts, accounts, and opportunities.
  • Lead client consultation calls to learn about and discuss potential new projects.
  • Works closely with the research/client services teams in coordinating the implementation of new projects and ensuring the client’s satisfaction after the completion of the project.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling marketing materials, campaigns, and sales tools.
  • Actively engage with industry organizations, events, and conferences to stay updated on trends and represent our company.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the senior leadership team on market performance, growth opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop expertise and ability to advise clients on industry trends, participating in client discussions and presentations as applicable.
  • Organizing client and internal kick-off calls, developing insightful proposals and delivering strategic sales communications.
  • Taking lead on project proposals and RFP responses.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Three years of market research experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in client management, sales, business development, initial contact, and contract negotiations.
  • Working knowledge of the principles, processes, and methods of market research.
  • Confirmed experience in prospecting and developing new business, by effectively building prospect lists and strong ability to transition prospects to clients.
  • Quantitative analysis skills, problem-solving skills, time management, personal organization, attention to detail, discretion, and composure skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, identify and mitigate project risks, and work effectively with various departments, stakeholders, and internal/external clients.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
