The annual salary for this position is $150,000-170,000; the position is also eligible for an annual year-end discretionary bonus.

We are seeking a Director of Capital Markets in Chicago, IL to manage the company’s real estate private equity financial modeling, direct the regular production of investor offerings and reporting materials and play an integral role in the management of a modern real estate investor relations platform. This position will report to the Chief Investment Officer and will be responsible for these essential functions:
- Superior understanding and skill in building, maintaining and enhancing complex real estate joint venture financial models, particularly waterfall distribution schedules.
- Build, manage and optimize financial modeling for private equity funds and joint venture investments.
- Take a leadership role in developing a process for the generation of regular co‐investment memos.
- Lead the preparation of quarterly investor reporting and fund reporting.
- Preparation and tracking of capital calls and distributions.
- Maintaining internal property directory and official company investment track record.
- Coordinate the audited valuation of company’s portfolio of real estate assets, which includes directing Golub’s internal valuation process.
- Gather, evaluate and maintain economic and market data. Manage and maintain third‐party data subscriptions and services, tracking a plethora of information and data to facilitate investment decisions.
- Work with other departments to monitor and evaluate property‐level and investment‐level performance.
- Collaborate internally and with third‐party software providers to manage investor relations technology platform creating a smooth and easy investor experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain internal reporting on portfolio leverage/risk, investment performance and operational performance.
