About Aurora Solar
Aurora is on a mission to create a future of solar for all. Our award-winning software puts the power of data and technology into the hands of every solar professional to make solar adoption simple and predictable. Our software has designed millions of solar projects so far, empowering solar companies to sell, design, and install residential and commercial solar arrays accurately, seamlessly, and at scale.
We’ve been named one of "The Best Remote Companies" by BuiltIn.com and have been recognized for the second time as a Certified Green Business (CGB) with the city of San Francisco. We’re in this together to support the world’s transition to solar.
About the Team
Business Systems sits within Finance and powers how Aurora goes to market, sells, bills, and recognizes revenue. The team covers RevOps systems, usage and billing, and marketing operations. Together they support everything from first lead to cash collected for both sales-led and self-serve customers. We partner closely with Accounts Receivable, FP&A, Deal Desk, Sales, Marketing, Data Analytics and Product teams to ensure our systems evolve alongside the ways Aurora sells and monetizes its offerings. We’re building a scalable, well-documented stack that can support new products, pricing models, and geographies as Aurora grows.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Director of Business Systems to lead the systems that power Aurora’s quote-to-cash, go-to-market, and finance operations. You’ll lead a small, experienced team and own how HubSpot, Salesforce, Continuous, Zuora, NetSuite, and the broader commercial technology stack work together to support our business.
In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll define the systems architecture and roadmap, partnering closely with leaders across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product to align on priorities. You’ll stay close to system configuration, bringing the technical depth to unblock your team and make informed trade-offs.

Serve as a strategic partner to Finance and GTM leaders.
Develop a self-organizing team that leverages automation and AI to manage intake, backlog, and prioritization, while balancing urgent fixes with roadmap delivery.
Document and streamline our processes and systems architecture, identify gaps and edge cases, and use these insights to prioritize improvements that support scale.
Simplify the technology stack and reduce costs by consolidating platforms and retiring tools we’ve outgrown.
Own systems governance, vendor relationships, and the team’s budget, including SOX-ready controls and practical applications of AI.
