Summary Generated by Built In

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Connected Warfare division provides the joint, time sensitive, multi domain, ubiquitous, connected mesh ecosystem built from hardware, software and partners to solve mission command problems. This mesh powers applications and unifies Anduril capabilities which provide mission command to the warfighter and allow real time decisions at the tactical, operational and strategic level of war. This ecosystem enables disproportional impact by connecting every robot, human and sensor in every domain, bringing together hundreds of thousands of end points across the planet allowing Anduril to be the source of truth for any time sensitive decision, transforming the way militaries close kill chains and enable mission autonomy, and developers to build experiences in a connected mesh ecosystem.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Director of Business Development to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding Anduril’s Voyager Family of Systems capabilities within USSOCOM and beyond. You will spearhead customer engagements, strategic capture campaigns, and collaborative initiatives with both internal teams and key external stakeholders. This will require a deep understanding of sales pipelines, procurement systems, and tactical operations. If you are someone who thrives in a dynamic, results-driven environment and excels at building trusted, long-term partnerships, then this role is for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will drive the entire business development and capture cycle—from opportunity identification and relationship building to closing large-scale deals and supporting operational growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Meet annual quotas: Achieve Voyager’s USSOCOM sales targets while supporting other business lines.
  • Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain an extensive pipeline for new sales opportunities and program expansion.
  • Customer Engagement: Own relationships with tactical units and program offices, conducting frequent touch points to understand priorities and challenge areas.
  • Event Orchestration: Organize growth events such as product demonstrations and proof-of-concept exercises to showcase capabilities.
  • Capture Management: Lead the qualification, negotiation, and closure of large-scale, complex deals while ensuring alignment with customer mission outcomes.
  • Strategic Proposals: Shape and influence new programs by tracking emerging initiatives, providing competitive intelligence, and shaping RFP requirements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal business lines and technical teams to connect our offerings to the customer’s mission and influence product roadmaps.
  • Data & Demand Leadership: Maintain rigorous Salesforce CRM hygiene and provide input for demand planning, ensuring clear action items and follow-ups on every opportunity.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven Growth & Technical Leadership: Demonstrated experience as a growth leader with a technical mindset to build and implement innovative approaches—including shaping and capturing complex Command and Control hardware and software programs, with recent interactions with SOF AT&L, PEO SDA, and PEO TIS.
  • Defense Acquisition Expertise: Strong background in defense acquisitions with a track record of zero-to-one program growth within SOF AT&L.
  • Government Contracting Acumen: In-depth understanding of government contracting, fielding, requirements generation, and budgeting to transition prototype capabilities to production.
  • Unmanned Systems Deployment: Experience addressing the technical, programmatic, and operational challenges of deploying unmanned systems in Denied, Degraded, Intermittent, and Low-bandwidth (DDIL) networking environments.
  • Extensive Experience: A minimum of 10 years in sales, business development, program management, acquisitions, and sales capture within the government sector.
  • Travel Flexibility: Must be willing to travel up to 50%, both within the U.S. (CONUS) and internationally (OCONUS), as business demands.
  • Key Relationship & Business Development Skills: Possess an extensive network of Government and industry relationships specific to USSOCOM; strong client management; proven ability in strategic account planning, pipeline development, federal business capture (including selling C2/C4ISR hardware solutions), and demonstrable communication, writing, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Security Clearance: Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance
