Senior Director, Business Development, Anduril Technology Market (International)

In this role, you will leverage demonstrated experience in developing non-US partnerships to integrate advanced technological capabilities into various systems while adhering to international customs and relevant regulations, including export policies and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. You will apply your subject matter knowledge in sensors, effectors, platform subsystems, command and control, and autonomous systems, to shape requirements and ultimately capture opportunities with non-US government, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and system integrators. With a Mission First Mindset, you will prioritize the needs of clients and the warfighter, actively seeking ways to build exceptional products that enhance defense capabilities. You will take ownership of your accounts, collaborating with clients and engineers to shape success, while demonstrating technical aptitude and a commitment to continuous learning. • Generate and capture business opportunities. The BD team is ultimately responsible for growing bookings. This is achieved by developing a deep understanding of the existing and prospective customer base, knowing the current or planned programmatic and technical roadmaps, and being cognizant of the competitive landscape. This expertise will inform capture strategies, revenue forecasts, and aid in technology development plans. Tactically, you will develop accounts and manage continuous engagements with current and future customers, generate growth strategies, and monitor buying cycles for opportunities.
• Grow existing business. You will liaise our Mission Operations team, to grow business with current clients. This does not simply include expanding upon current work, but also leveraging existing partnerships to explore new areas of work or opportunities by sustaining and building upon the strong foundation of those client relationships.
• Communicate our value to clients. This role will represent Anduril to a broad audience: clients, partners, competitors, and the interested public. You must project the company’s ethos, conveying insights that illustrate our approach to building next-generation defense technology and our competitive edges in doing so.
• Inform product development. As you will often be the first Anduril employee to engage a client, you are charged with translating their problem set back into our engineering organization. The team must trust your value judgement and assessment of the required mission outcome as you interpret and convey various client needs. Internally, you will provide the necessary clarity to inform priorities, keep Anduril stakeholders informed, determine key milestones, and proactively providing clear communications to appropriate levels of the company. Your assessment of clients’ needs will inform new product decisions, and your ongoing engagement with clients will yield crucial input that helps Anduril ensure our product suite is best-in-class.

• Experience developing and executing capture plans for non-US opportunities Aerospace and Defense industry.
• Experience with complex systems involving hardware and software.
• Experience building and maintaining an opportunity pipeline in SalesForce.
• Experience running active business forecasting pipeline.
• Comfortable with working in limited resource environments.
• Comfortable with setting and achieving goals in a complex environment.
• Ability to travel 25 – 50%.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Experience managing complex technical projects with non-US governments, OEMs, and Systems Integrators.
• Expertise in AI and autonomous systems.
• Science, Technology, Engineering or Math degree.
• Prior military or contracting experience.
