WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
In this role you will report directly into the Senior Director, Brand Marketing LATAM and be a member of the LATAM Marketing Leadership Team. You are responsible for leading, coaching, driving and inspiring the performance management process for the Men’s Brand Marketing team, accountable for growth and development of talent to drive brand impact, fuel consumer demand and build our long-term engagement with consumers. Your cross-functional marketing team includes Digital Marketing, Retail Marketing, Integrated Media and Brand Creative, while maintaining effective partnerships with Brand Planning & Operations, Sports Marketing, Communications and Social & Community Impact. You will lead alignment with cross-functional business partners in Merchandising, Demand & Supply Management and Marketplace Units aligned to the Men’s growth strategy. You will partner with the Asia-Pacific Latin America geography and Global Brand Marketing teams across Nike to provide consumer insights and build more effective and efficient ways to drive brand impact. Your key external partners are local creative agencies, athletes, teams, influencers and community leaders that will be working on or included in our storytelling.

We’re looking for a LATAM Director, Men’s Brand Marketing to join our Mexico-based marketing team. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As our LATAM Men’s Brand Marketing leader in Mexico, you will direct the consumer brand strategy for Football, Running and Sportswear, while leading a team to execute our priority brand concepts. You will define our target consumers and translate insights into brand opportunities that take consumers somewhere new. This involves translating Nike’s strategy into clear, simple and inspiring briefs that inspire the marketing functions to turn items into ideas with their expertise. You author the integrated marketing plans, build relationships, communicate the right way and stitch together functional plans to help maximise brand impact in our marketplace. This includes developing Energy marketing relationships that push our brand to the edges of culture and leading a ground game that generates positive word-of-mouth for Nike, at scale. You will lead the end-to-end marketing process, make presentations to drive inspiration and collaboration, run a meeting offense to stimulate collaboration and communicate direction with confidence. You will be responsible for planning and managing a budget with the operations team, ensuring that we maximise our resources to deliver on time. Success will be measured based on increases in our brand strength, consumer engagement and business growth.
You will Bring:

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a closely related field

Demonstrated genuine passion and deep understanding of sport, culture, fashion, trends and growing sport across underserved communities

10+ years of experience in consumer marketing or related experience in digital marketing and/or retail marketing including cross-functional business acumen

Ability to develop strategy, lead initiatives, project teams and influence effectively

Ability to balance creativity with process in fast moving, ambiguous environment

A team-first mentality with a proven ability to coach and develop talent

Strong written and verbal communication skills to multiple levels of seniority
