The Role

Job Title: Director of Brand and Creative
Department: Marketing
Reports to: VP Marketing
Direct Reports: Brand and Creative teams
Type: FT, Remote
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and visionary Director of Brand and Creative to develop and transform our brand strategy, creative direction, and storytelling. This person will lead our brand and creative teams to elevate our presence and drive meaningful consumer connections through innovative, high-impact, and culturally resonant strategies that inspire loyalty and growth. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, creative excellence, and team leadership to drive our brand's impact and growth.
Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy and Positioning:
    • Define, refine, and implement the brand's strategic framework, ensuring consistency across all channels and customer touchpoints.
    • Lead integrated multi-channel marketing campaign concepting, development, and execution.
    • Lead market research initiatives to stay informed about customer insights, competitive positioning, and industry trends, integrating findings into the brand strategy.
  • Creative Leadership:
    • Direct and inspire creative teams to produce innovative brand assets and campaigns.
    • Oversee execution of high-impact creative campaigns across digital, print, social, video, and experiential.
    • Ensure all creative outputs are on-brand, innovative, and aligned with business objectives.
    • Serve as the brand's creative voice, guiding storytelling and visual design standards.
  • Team Development and Collaboration:
    • Build, lead and mentor a high-performing creative team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and growth.
    • Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, Growth, and Customer Experience, to align creative strategies with broader business goals.
  • Project Management and Execution:
    • Evaluate and prioritize creative needs from the organization and develop a plan to properly staff and manage projects to ensure successful execution.
    • Manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely delivery of creative assets within budget.


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in brand strategy, creative leadership, or a related role, in an agency or high-growth, consumer-focused environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand campaigns that drive measurable business results.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building and scaling creative teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate a vision and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in creative tools and platforms, with a strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • A passion for storytelling, design, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
