Job Description

Mission:

The Director will report directly to the VP Accounting and supervise all accounting operations:  billing, A/R, cash receipts, collections, A/P, payroll, treasury, cash forecasting, internal controls, and audits.

The Director is responsible for creating an environment and culture that enables IntegriChain to fulfill its goals by holding direct reports accountable for performance, motivating staff to improve performance, and being responsible for the department's operation, measurement, assessment, and continuous improvement of the department's performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process owner for all financial accounting operations activities of the Company and its affiliates.
  • Oversee daily operations of all accounting operations and finance groups within the organization. On a US basis, responsibilities include all Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Billing, Sales and Use Tax, Treasury, and Payroll.
  • Manage the accounts payable functions, including voucher processing, vendor payments, vendor management, and the employee expense report reimbursement process.
  • Manage all payroll functions, including timely submission of bi-monthly payroll, monthly/quarterly/yearly wage/tax reporting, updating company policy/procedures, and ensuring all payroll reporting/payments comply with company policy and federal/state/IRS regulations.
  • Manage the order-to-cash process by ensuring timely invoicing to all customers and accurate cash application, collections, and forecasting.  
  • Support external and internal audits, including ensuring the timely receipt of all information requested.
  • Manage day-to-day workflow, administrative, and prioritization along with providing support and development, including constructive feedback as needed, of direct and indirect reports
  • Maintains cash forecast and manages daily cash position for the US entities.
  • Oversee bank account activity (open, close, signatory changes) for all bank accounts and coordinate the approval process for signatory changes.
  • Maintain excellent banking relationships with existing bank service providers.
  • Work closely with the accounting staff to identify, understand, and account for all operating expenses. Work cross-functionally to continually develop processes and accounting plans to facilitate an efficient monthly close. 
  • Prepare various schedules, analyses, and key reporting metrics (AP and AR aging, Customer Credit reviews, monthly status of Over90 collection issues) related to the Company’s accounts payable/ payroll /billing/collection functions.
  • Create and maintain documentation regarding payroll policies and procedures, including annual 401k /Worker’s Compensation audits and Insurance renewals.
  • Develop processes around forecasting customer collections to feed into a weekly cash forecast
  • Contribute to a team effort to re-implement NetSuite, specifically gaining efficiencies from our Billing processes
  • Lead implementation efforts on our new procurement system, Zip.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and continuous process improvements to create efficiencies and best-practice operations within the accounting operations function.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the table: 

  • Managing Processes, People Management, Data Entry Management, Reporting Skills, Compensation and Wage Structure, Benefits Administration, Worker Compensation, Employment Law, Developing Standards, Financial Skills, Accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience working in an ERP environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage remote and global teams and projects.
  • Willingness to be part of a team and be involved in special projects.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Database software)
  • Net Suite experience required
  • OpenAir and Salesforce experience preferred
