This role is responsible for managing the pipeline and execution of IT projects, portfolios, and major projects related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Responsibilities include planning, design, implementation, coordination, and governance of M&A IT portfolio to drive strategic alignment and value creation.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Proven experience in portfolio management, with a focus on mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.• Engage IT resources and domain teams to support the strategic direction of the M&A (and divestiture) portfolio.• Engages with Business, IT Functional, and IT Domain leads in IT Strategy and Portfolio Management to develop, introduce, maintain, and refine M&A playbooks, processes, and procedures; provides insights and direction based on portfolio analysis.• Drive change management initiatives to support organizational transformation and cultural integration during M&A processes• Work with business leaders and executive leadership to oversee the M&A project portfolio, ensuring effective prioritization, resource allocation, risk management, and value realization.• Define, implement, and adjust resource demand planning and capacity modeling for the M&A portfolio.• Lead post-merger integration efforts, coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve synergy targets and operational efficiencies.• Engage stakeholders -- including IT, Business Unit, Finance, HR, PPMO, Enterprise Architecture, Audit & Compliance and others - ensuring appropriate participation and escalating issues as needed.• Tailor communications based on the audience to synthesize and exchange information effectively.• Actively seeks new skills and concepts to improve governance processes, standards and outcomes.• Leverage technical knowledge, best practices, and organizational dynamics to mitigate issues and risks.• Manage sourcing and coordination with third-party partners for acquisition due diligence when required.• Drive implementation using established M&A playbook standards ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.• Drives toward continuous improvement.• Collaboration with other functional domains including Finance, Compliance, HR, and Corporate Development as it relates to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures in the European region.• Leverage the performance management cycle to motivate direct reports, coach team members, and support achievement of objectives.• Accountable for the risk and issue management of one or more related disciplines through subordinate managers and team.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- 7 to 10 years of IT work experience, including 7 or more years project management and/or governance
- Experience in Mergers and Acquisition due diligence activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Systems or Engineering; or equivalent work experience
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Competent Level Understanding of:
- Solution development, program governance and change management methodologies, values, and procedures
- Complex project and program management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Relevant business software (e.g. Microsoft Office applications, Clarity, MS Project, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Teams, OneNote)
- Possesses the ability to balance and a willingness to engage with ideas different from their own, encouragement of others to express divergent perspectives, the capability to influence, conflict management, and foster teamwork.
- Highly adaptable in changing environments.
- Strong situational awareness for listening vs assertive action.
- Proven people management experience

Salary Range*
$124,000 - 190,850
*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
