Overview:
At Mixbook, we’re on a mission to empower creativity and deepen human connection. The Direct Response Copywriter role at Mixbook is a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate team working together to build a successful consumer tech business with a meaningful mission. We’re seeking someone to develop a compelling marketing copy that helps consumers choose and use Mixbook. Your writing style is a bit cheeky and bold, encouraging but not overbearing, and warm but not overly sentimental. Please include your portfolio in your application to be considered.

Although Mixbook is fully remote we would prefer this person to be able to work on PST.
What You’ll Do
You’ll live out our unique brand voice, crafting differentiated ad copy across digital, print, social, and landing pages that convert consumers into customers. You will report to the Senior Copywriter and work cross-functionally with email and performance marketing teams, bringing the brand tone and voice into the customer journey from shopping to creation.
Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of the Mixbook brand, crafting effective copy that delivers on our voice across digital, print, social, direct mail, PMAX, and landing pages
- Demonstrated expertise in developing snappy taglines, short action-driven copy, emotional video scripts and sticky social media copy
- Partner with designers and art directors throughout the creative development process to ensure seamless integration of verbal and visual communication, with attention to message hierarchy, emphasis, and story flow
Requirements
- 3-5 years of copywriting experience within an agency or in-house creative team (bonus if it includes e-commerce or CPG brands)
- Strong understanding of the marketing landscape with ability to adapt the content, style, and length appropriately for relevancy and impact at each touchpoint
- Organized, efficient and agile – able to meet deadlines with ease while working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Curious learner, eager to take on new challenges, implement new approaches and push beyond comfort zone
- A creative aptitude, appreciation, and strong grasp of the Mixbook brand
- Experience with Figma and Asana a huge plus
- MUST include your portfolio in your application to be considered
