Digital Workplace Deployment Engineer

Wursta is seeking an experienced technical engineer to join our Digital Workplace Deployment Engineering team. Deployment Engineers are responsible for delivering high-impact professional services focused on Google Workspace and adjacent collaboration technologies. In this role, you will lead the technical aspects of post-sales activities, transitioning organizations from legacy messaging and collaboration solutions to modern Google solutions while ensuring seamless data migration and long-term technical value.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise for Google Workspace and adjacent technologies (e.g., Google Chrome, Gemini, AppSheet, etc.).

• Lead all technical aspects of post-sales activities for transitioning from legacy messaging and collaboration solutions to Google solutions.

• Oversee assigned delivery projects, including:

  • Data migration to Google Workspace from multiple source platforms.

  • Professional Services related to Google Workspace and Google Cloud.

• Participate in project and team meetings as required.

• Assist in sales engineering activities as needed.

Required Experience

• 4+ years of technical experience with Google Workspace.

• 4+ years of technical experience with cloud migration strategies, specifically Google Workspace deployments.

• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale deployments to Google Workspace.

• Associate Google Workspace Administrator Certified.

• Proven ability to work independently, remotely, and manage numerous parallel projects.

• Strong project management and time management skills.

• Experience using collaboration tools such as Slack, Jira, GitHub, etc.

• Experience working effectively within a distributed organization.

• Demonstrated capability in presenting technology and processes to project teams, IT leadership, and key stakeholders.

• Proven ability to write technical communications, documentation, and presentation materials to share knowledge and updates.
