1 - First ShiftJob Summary
Are you passionate about how thoughtful design can improve the user experience of digital products? In this role, you will both join a team of like-minded designers and create user experiences by working within a digital product team to research, design, prototype and measure analytics in support of the team’s objectives. We are looking for a motivated learner, critical thinker who’s not afraid to ask questions, and empathetic designer who is passionate about delivering user experiences that meet the expectations of our customers, dealers and premium brand.What You’ll Do1. Work across the design lifecycle to research solutions, design concepts and prototypes and collaborate with software engineers to bring the concept into the product.
2. Gain an understanding of digital product users and personas by participating in user research and observation.
3. Learn and demonstrate the ability to design within an established design system and component library.
4. Track and document key metrics that support the product team such as user adoption and customer satisfaction.
5. Collaborate with other UX designers by participating in UX team ceremonies (e.g. stand-ups, pairing sessions, design review, best practice sharing) to gain other perspectives and ensure we are working towards building a unified user experience across teams.
What We’re Looking For- High School diploma required.
- Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Marketing or other related field.
- Previous internship is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Figma is recommended, Jira and software development lifecycles (agile, lean, waterfall) is a plus.
- Knowledge of user experience best practices and UI standards.
Travel
- No travel is expected of this position.
Work Location
