About Munich Electrification

Munich Electrification is an innovative company founded with the aim of accelerating the transition to electric and connected mobility. We develop innovative electronic control units for electric vehicles and stationary storage systems for our global customers. Our international team is composed of highly motivated and exceptional engineers. As a small and specialized team we are well-aware of the importance of each individual colleague and support and promote each employee according to their abilities and needs. Our office with adjacent prototype and testing lab is located in the heart of Munich at the Heimeranplatz.

This is what we stand for:

- Technological Leadership: We challenge norms, innovate quickly, and anticipate future needs. We take smart risks and learn from outcomes to stay ahead.

- Sustainability: We actively drive change for a sustainable future, aware of our impact and inspiring others to build a better world.

- Team Culture: We believe work should be enjoyable, fostering a spirit of inspiration, celebration, and teamwork across the globe.

- Entrepreneurial Spirit: We embrace change, think big, and push limits with passion.

Your Role:

Your mission is to oversee and evaluate the digital landscape of Munich Electrification. Instead of building every tool yourself, you will act as the Technical Quality Assurance and Strategic Consultant for the organization. You will evaluate new technologies, vet the architecture of scripts and automations built within departments, and define the secure frameworks that allow our decentralized developers to innovate without risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology Vetting & Risk Assessment: Evaluate emerging technologies and AI models for technical fit, security, and compliance. You serve as the final "Technical Sign-off" before any new SaaS tool or automation is deployed company-wide.

  • Architectural Review: Audit and review the scripts and workflows developed by "Satellite" scripters (e.g., in Operations or Finance). You ensure their code is efficient, secure, and compatible with our core systems.

  • Strategic Solution Design: Partner with departments to evaluate their manual bottlenecks and define the ideal technical solution. You provide the "blueprint" for others to build, ensuring alignment with IT and DevOps standards.

  • Standards & Framework Definition: Establish the "Rules of Engagement" for internal development, including documentation standards, security protocols, and integration best practices for APIs and webhooks.

  • Vendor & Innovation Scouting: Conduct "Build vs. Buy" analyses. Evaluate whether a business problem should be solved by internal scripting or by procuring a specialized third-party solution, focusing on long-term ROI.

Your Profile:

  • Education: Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, with a focus on systems architecture or technical management.

  • Technical Literacy: Strong ability to read and audit code (Python, JavaScript) to identify security flaws or inefficiencies, even if you are not the primary creator.

  • Systems Evaluation: Deep understanding of how enterprise software should integrate safely within a corporate environment.

  • Analytical Mindset: You are skilled at evaluating "Technical Debt" and can predict how a small script today might impact the network tomorrow.

  • Consultative Communication: Fluent in English; German is a plus; Ability to provide constructive feedback to departmental developers, guiding them toward more professional and secure technical outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in IT Auditing or Technical Project Management.

  • Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., TISAX or ISO 27001) and GDPR compliance.
