The Role
Simulmedia is seeking a strategic and execution-driven digital transformation leader to help us scale and modernize the operational backbone of PlayerWON, our pioneering ad platform for free-to-play games. PlayerWON enables rewarded video advertising inside premium PC and console titles — and we're now ready to transform our internal tooling, partner onboarding flows, and campaign operations to support our next phase of growth.

This individual will drive the vision, strategy, and implementation roadmap for transforming our media buying and operational processes related to PlayerWON, partnering closely with leaders across Gaming Partnerships, AdOps, Product, Engineering, and Client Success.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development Strategy & Growth
● Lead the overall strategy for expanding PlayerWON's gaming partnerships and increasing supply across PC and console titles.
● Identify, prioritize, and secure high-value publisher and developer partnerships.
● Translate gaming partner needs and advertiser demand into scalable commercial agreements and revenue opportunities.
● Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities aligned with PlayerWON's growth objectives.

Partnership Expansion & Revenue Acceleration
● Own the end-to-end business development lifecycle: sourcing, outreach, negotiation, contracting, and long-term relationship management.
● Drive revenue growth within existing gaming partnerships through optimization and expansion initiatives.
● Collaborate closely with Ad Sales and Client Success to ensure alignment between supply growth and advertiser demand.

Market Development & Industry Leadership
● Identify new market segments, genres, and geographic expansion opportunities within the gaming ecosystem.
● Monitor industry trends in F2P monetization and in-game advertising to inform strategic growth decisions.
● Represent PlayerWON at industry events, conferences, and executive meetings to strengthen market positioning and brand visibility.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Commercial Alignment
● Act as the commercial "glue" between partnerships, operations, engineering, and revenue teams.
● Ensure successful onboarding and launch of new gaming partners through coordinated cross-functional execution.
● Represent business development priorities across the executive team, ensuring alignment with PlayerWON's growth and monetization goals.

Performance Measurement
● Define KPIs to track partner acquisition, revenue growth, deal velocity, and retention.
● Provide clear reporting and forecasting to senior leadership on pipeline health and commercial performance.

Required Skills & Background:
● Deep understanding of the gaming industry, especially F2P monetization models and in-game advertising.
● Experience scaling digital or operational platforms at the intersection of games and media.
● Proven success in leading digital transformation within cross-functional orgs (ops, product, engineering).
● Familiarity with game publisher integrations, ad delivery (e.g., VAST tags, SDKs), and campaign tracking.
● Strong working knowledge of emerging tech, process automation, and internal product development.
● Comfortable influencing cross-functional teams and presenting to C-suite executives.

Bonus Points For:
● Background in ad tech or martech, especially involving CTV, programmatic, or mobile performance media.
● Experience working with low-code/no-code tools or RPA to accelerate ops efficiency.
● Certifications like PMP, Agile, or ITIL.
● Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Airtable, Salesforce, HubSpot, Postman, or Looker.

Qualifications:
● 10+ years of relevant experience leading digital transformation, product development, or ops strategy in media or gaming.
● Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/military experience.
● Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and visual — and comfort working with U.S.-based teams remotely or hybrid.
