As a Digital Supporter you will be responsible to perform timely first-line support of all portfolio applications, PC and mobile platform, networking and communications.
Here’s some of the other things you can look forward to:
Ensure service requests and failure and security tickets are updated and resolved as per agreed KPI levels
Escalate higher level matters to second line and to external support as applicable
Focus and do necessary action on assigned activities and projects to accomplish the milestones and meet the deadlines
Liaise with suppliers, ISP’s, service centers, application developers and other Digital contacts as per business requirements and for resolution of issues
Provides basic orientation of Hempel digital systems and platform to new users and inculcate awareness of Digital policies and procedures and strict compliance on information security
Ensure Company policies, procedures and controls are adhered to within the Digital function
Keep costs low and within budget
Develop effective working relationships at all levels, internally and externally
Communicate promptly, clearly and effectively with the team and relevant colleagues
The role will be based in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) with primary focus on Saudi Arabia tickets but will extend to other countries as the necessary experience and skill levels are achieved.
You should also have the following qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of full-time IT Technician/Digital Support experience in a reputable company
Bachelor’s degree or Vocational course graduate preferably in computer related studies
Expertise in Network cabling
PC and printer repair and troubleshooting skills.
Proficient in Microsoft suite of applications
Project coordination skills
Analytical and problem-solver
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Team player with positive attitude
Pro-active and offers assistance whenever possible.
Continually improving performance.
Setting high standards of service.
Should possess a valid driver’s license
