About the Role
Are you ready to help shape and improve digital services that support Bluecurrent’s strategic goals? We are looking for a Digital Services Manager to take ownership of a digital service domain, manage key stakeholder relationships, and ensure our digital services are reliable, well-supported and aligned to business needs.
In this role, you will manage application initiatives, issues, minor enhancements and improvement opportunities. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and project teams to shape requests, define support and change requirements, and support the transition of services from project delivery into BAU.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and overseeing a digital service domain, including the health and performance of in-production applications.
- Managing and prioritising a backlog of issues, requests, minor enhancements and improvement opportunities.
- Working with stakeholders and technical teams to clarify problems, shape practical options and agree delivery priorities.
- Supporting service transition from project delivery into BAU, including defining support and change requirements.
- Identifying recurring issues and opportunities to improve service reliability and performance.
- Balancing new features, operational priorities, technical debt and service risk.
- Ensuring digital services align with security, data protection and operational best practice.
- Maintaining documentation for digital service processes, support models and ways of working.
What we are looking for
You will ideally have a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field, along with demonstrated experience in digital services, service delivery, stakeholder engagement and problem solving.
We are looking for someone with experience supporting or managing live digital services, including an understanding of service health, operational performance, incident management, service transition and continuous improvement. Familiarity with ITIL practices or service management disciplines would be highly valuable.
You will bring strong backlog management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to balance business requests, minor enhancements, operational issues and technical debt. Excellent communication is essential, as this role requires someone who can act as a bridge between business and technical teams, influence outcomes, manage competing stakeholder demands and stay organised in a busy environment.
