Job Title: Digital Product Owner
Reports to: Director, DTC Digital Product Management
Location:  Remote

The Role

The Digital Product Owner is responsible for delivering value, managing the roadmap and day-to-day oversight of digital related projects within the Direct-to-Consumer Channel. The DPO will provide vision and direction to the Agile development team(s) and stakeholders. The DPO will work closely with business users, solution architects and the UX team to create all business requirements needed to ensure all aspects of our technology platforms and Third-party integrations are built to specification within a fast-paced environment.

This role collaborates heavily throughout the business with key partners and strives to create alignment on priority, understanding value, and delivery timing. They will partner with other Agile Development Teams, Business Teams, and outside parties often to ensure the completion and adoption of the Product deliverables. They will be a strong advocate for the Product vision and team.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

  • 1. Driving Value through Agile Development Team:
    • Using Agile best practices, oversee Product Team goals to align backlog around value,
    • Maintain the backlog with prioritized work,
    • Ensure that work is ready for development,
  • 2. Managing Stakeholders expectations and communication:
    • Participate in Valuing process,
    • Align Product Roadmap with Strategic Value,
    • Be the main point of contact for Stakeholders to communicate on Product progress, future goals, road mapping and resourcing,
  • 3. Build consensus and alignment on product deliverables:
    • Collect requirements and input from business partners throughout the business,
    • Understand industry best practices and market trends to be an SME on Product area,
  • 4. Own Product Team Impact:
    • Measure key product areas and maintain consistent reporting,
    • Manage identified risks appropriately,
    • Ensure feedback loops are in place to collect regular feedback, adjust direction and take corrective action.

Who You Are

  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Comfortable with guiding teams through ambiguity
  • Driven to continuous improvement
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, comfortable working through requirements and understanding the value

We’d love to hear from people with

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent related work experience
  • Product Owner certification from PMP, Scrum or similar industry
  • 5-7 years functional management experience
  • 4+ years of project management and/or product owner experience
  • Previous BSA/BA or Requirements writing experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools, JIRA, Confluence, Road mapping tools, visual diagramming (Lucid/Miro)

$140,000 - $150,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your preferred location during the hiring process.
