About The Role:
We are seeking a highly qualified Product Strategist/Manager to join the team on the ground floor as we help our clients through extensive migrations to bring a better product to the science community globally. As the first dedicated product hire on this project, you will work closely with our leadership team to build best in class web and mobile strategy to support our clients vision today and in the future. You will create product roadmaps from conception to launch, set & achieve strategic goals and evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends and deliver innovative products that drive conversion and engagement of our millions of users.
What You'll Do:

  • Build & own a best-in-class strategy and roadmap for our clients vision
  • Foster that vision, strategy, and roadmap for Programs application experience and platforms, working closely with team members in selection, research, engineering, customer experience, and partner relations
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (Dev, QA, Data Science, Computer Vision) and manage the product roadmap for new products and funnels
  • Work closely with stakeholders across our clients ecosystem and continually enhance our strategy, policy, and procedures
  • Translate business goals into actionable product goals and lead your team of partners to achieve those milestones
  • Conduct workshops with customers on new product ecosystem strategy and gather feedback through technical engagements.
  • Help define nice to have elements versus must have
  • Analyze business requirements, user needs, and understand partner systems in order to draft user stories and business requirements documents (BRDs) as well spearhead workstreams with support from senior team members, including owning end to end deliverables, creating work plans, and managing deadlines and expectations
  • Partner with key leaders of would-be impacted users for review, approval of technology solutions and process changes
  • Ability to synthesize ambiguous customer needs into clear product requirements

Who You Are:

  • At least 2 years of full-time experience in management consulting, strategy development, requirements gathering, and experience with a high-intensity role
  • Have strong management skills and be comfortable with a high level of customer interaction
  • A self-starter with a desire to win – exceptionally comfortable with ambiguity & solving complex problems
  • High level of individual ownership and personal accountability, with a mindset of getting things done and driving process forward without supervision
  • All-around team player, self-motivated with strong communication skills, who thrives working in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to roll up sleeves and do any task to get the job done
  • Hands-on, initiator, with a high level of ownership and accountability with a mindset of “getting things done”
  • Impact-driven, user, and business oriented with passion for being a part of developing a strategy for products that people love
  • Self-organized, process driven and can drive a project from start to finish with multiple stakeholders
  • Agile, analytical, and structured way of working
  • Demonstrated experience orchestrating and influencing collaboration across multiple teams and roles (e.g., Product owners, business sponsors, subject matter experts, experience designers, testers, software development teams, etc.) towards building a cohesive, customer-focused product backlog
  • Previous experience and proven success with digital transformation implementations (journey design, prototyping to scale), and tech innovation initiatives with a strong interest in
  • Systems thinking: ability to turn a roadmap into a detailed project schedule and work plan.
