As a Digital Platforms Product Owner, Vice President in the Asset Management Digital Platforms team, you own outcomes across Advisor Tools, the Digital Portfolio Platform, and digital web and mobile channels for the JP market. You translate advisor and client needs into a clear, actionable backlog and lead delivery from discovery through release and adoption. You are accountable for platform stability, delivery quality, governance, and measurable improvements in experience and efficiency. You partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Technology teams across APAC, EMEA, and the US.
Job Responsibilities
- Own the JP roadmap for Advisor Tools and the Digital Portfolio Platform, aligned to regional and global standards
- Define priority advisor and client outcomes, converting needs into field ready releases
- Set and track success metrics including adoption, engagement, workflow efficiency, satisfaction, and platform health
- Own the JP web and mobile roadmap across priority journeys, content, capability upgrades, and channel performance
- Partner with design, content, brand, analytics, and engineering to deliver consistent, accessible experiences
- Lead day to day platform operations including intake, triage, prioritization, and release governance
- Drive platform reliability with Technology through incident management, root cause follow ups, and stability improvements
- Own end to end delivery including requirements, build, testing, release, and post release iteration
- Write clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that are testable and outcome aligned
- Coordinate dependencies and decisions across Product, Marketing, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Technology
- Identify automation and AI enabled enhancements, ensuring responsible governance, validation, and controls
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 10 to 15 years of experience in digital product management or product ownership
- Experience owning advisor tools, distribution platforms, or digital portfolio capabilities for B2B users
- Experience owning or delivering web and mobile digital experiences, including roadmap and release execution
- Proven end to end delivery experience across discovery, build, testing, release, and rollout
- Strong Agile capability including backlog ownership, story writing, and release planning
- Strong technical fluency across platforms, integration patterns, data, analytics, and modern delivery practices
- Experience running day to day platform operations including intake, release governance, and incident partnership
- Fluency in Japanese and English, with ability to communicate with senior stakeholders and delivery teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills, driving clarity and decisions under ambiguity
