Duties:
Under the supervision of the Vice President, Marketing & Engagement, support the overall objectives of Joni and Friends’ Marketing department. Perform duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  1. Donation Pages
    1. Create and update donation pages as required for ministry initiatives and campaigns 
    2. Track donations and improve donor experience 
    3. Implement source codes to track donations attributed to a specific purpose or event 
    4. Collaborate with Global Operations, Development, and Accounting to ensure accurate fund codes are attached to event and donation forms
  2. Event Registration and Fundraising Pages
    1. Coordinate content for online event pages, autoresponders, peer-to-peer fundraising, and registrations utilizing Classy, Asana, and WordPress 
    2. Align best practices for event pages and layout to enhance user experience 
    3. Provide reports on registration activity, and post-event summaries
    4. Resolve support tickets related to events
    5. Provide troubleshooting solutions for digital platforms 
  3. Other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor to support department and organizational needs
Qualifications: 
  • Must possess a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with the Joni and Friends statement of faith
  • Desire to serve in a growing and dynamic Christian service ministry
  • Proficient in Classy, or experience in similar nonprofit fundraising platforms, such as Blackbaud or Virtuous
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, WordPress, and Asana
  • Strong customer service skills with an understanding of prioritizing user needs 
  • 2 years of experience online forms and surveys and web analytics
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • Good interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to effectively organize and prioritize a wide range of daily tasks with varied deadlines are necessary
  • Must be detail oriented, committed to accuracy, and team player who is flexible and able to work independently
  • Must have a strong sense of confidentiality
  • Strong general computer skills are necessary along with a competent, working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and the Internet
  • Understanding of Christian ministry and specifically Joni and Friends is desirable

Compensation for this position is $23.00-$25.00 per hour. This is a temporary position, working 40 hours per week. This is a hybrid position, working in the Agoura Hills office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and remote Wednesday and Friday.
