The Digital Planning Supervisor is responsible for development and presentation/positioning of accurate, well-researched, creative and cutting-edge media plans. The Digital Planning Supervisor is a client-facing role, as well as a leadership role that involves training and overseeing Digital Planners and Assistant Digital Planners. The supervisor will stay abreast of industry news and competitive sites. He/she will also thrive in an industry where clients need everything yesterday.

  • Day-to-day support of digital sales team through development of media plans and decks for advertising proposals. Proposals must be accurate, creative, meet objectives, and submitted on time.

  • Oversee and assign all Digital RFPs submitted in Salesforce.

  • Troubleshoot any issues during the planning phase.

  • Assist with onboarding and roll out of new media partners and ad products.

  • Provide sell through support by joining client calls

  • Communicate directly with clients and agencies regarding campaign details.

  • Works closely with digital marketing and integrated marketing on custom programs, both digital only and integrated with print. 

  • Liaise between departments: ad operations, digital marketing, integrated marketing, sales, and finance. 

  • Train and oversee Digital Media Planners.

  • Train new Account Executives on media solutions and capabilities.

  • Analyze Salesforce trends to be incorporated into OmniPoint Planning & Buying – Recommended sites/targeting by target audience; Historical site costs & performance; Creative executions by industry; etc. 

  • Assist with onboarding and roll out of new media partners and ad products 

  • Assist with training new team members including media planners and sales

  • All other duties as assigned. 


III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field preferred (and/or equivalent, relevant work experience). 

Experience:

  • 3 - 4 years minimum work experience preferred; ideal candidate will have 2 year minimum agency, publisher, or digital media company experience. 

  • Management experience strongly preferred.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Must be outgoing, organized, efficient, team player and a strategic thinker. 

  • Above average Excel and PowerPoint literacy proficiency. 

  • Proficient in digital media tools such as Omniture, Nielsen @Plan, ComScore, etc. 

  • Solutions oriented with a “can-do” attitude – someone who can think creatively and strategically, has strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and has an interest in digital media and learning about a multi-media brand. 

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team. 

  • Ability to multi-task and efficiently manage time and priorities. 

% Travel Required (Approximate): 10%

In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office (Stamford, CT), with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.
