Summary 

The Digital Marketing Media Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing City Electric Supply’s digital marketing strategy across multiple channels including social media, email marketing, and paid media. This role plays a key part in growing brand awareness, increasing audience engagement, and strengthening digital communication with customers.

 

The ideal candidate is creative, data driven, and highly organized, with a strong understanding of omnichannel digital marketing including paid and organic strategies. This position works cross functionally with marketing and business partners to support campaigns, events, and branded initiatives while ensuring all digital content aligns with CES brand values and business goals. 

 

Essential Job Functions 

  • Develop, execute, and analyze digital marketing strategy across social media, email, and paid media channels at both a national and local level.
  • Own the growth, optimization, and engagement across all main digital and social media platforms.
  • Own the planning, execution, and optimization of email marketing campaigns including promotional, lifecycle, and automated programs.
  • Manage email marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Listrak, or similar tools to build, segment, and deploy campaigns.
  • Develop audience segmentation strategies to drive engagement, retention, and conversion through email marketing.
  • Analyze email performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates and conversions) and continuously optimize campaigns.
  • Support paid media efforts by coordinating campaign messaging, audiences, and creative alignment with social and email initiatives.
  • Manage the editorial calendar across social media and email channels, ensuring alignment with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Stay involved with current digital marketing trends including email, paid media, and social insights.
  • Leverage AI tools and platforms to support content generation, scheduling, and digital campaign ideation while ensuring all output remains on-brand and editorially reviewed before publishing.
  • Independently act as a brand champion across online communities and always represent our brand in a way that reflects our brand values.
  • Manage the timelines of all digital marketing content and campaign projects.
  • Monitor digital marketing trends, competitor activity, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and performance improvement.
  • Provides support in preparation of presentations and reports.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relations with customers, coworkers and supervisors.
  • Assist with other company projects, as assigned. 
Qualifications

Education/Experience 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Digital Marketing, including social media, email marketing, and/or paid media.
  • Collaborate across multiple teams with the responsibility to drive successful campaigns, events, and nurture programs
  • Experience managing social media platforms such as Sprout, Meltwater, or similar tools, including campaign execution and reporting.
  • Understanding of digital data, including the system and processes used to generate and analyze data across social media and email platforms.
  • Hands-on experience managing email platforms such as Hubspot, Listrak, or similar marketing automation tools, including campaign execution, segmentation, and reporting.
  • Exposure to paid media channels (paid social, PPC) preferred, with primary focus on social media and email marketing experience.

 

Competencies:

  • Paid Media experience including social advertising and PPC campaign management, optimization, and reporting.
  • Experience with email marketing strategy, campaign execution, segmentation, and performance analysis.
  • Experience with web analytics platforms (ie. Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, email analytics dashboards, etc.).
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Listrak, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered content tools such as ChatGPT, Jasper, Canva AI, or similar platforms used for digital content creation and ideation.
  • Fast learner, self-motivated, proactive.
  • Detail oriented and organized.

  • Passionate about digital marketing and emerging technologies.
