Experienced Digital Marketing Manager
We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to drive to drive our digital marketing efforts as part of our international Branding & Marketing Communications team at our head office in Hedehusene, Denmark. You will be a key driver in our digital transformation and change management, as we move towards a “digital first” approach and, over time, full marketing automation and digital lead generation.

Your future teamYou will join ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation, a global subsidiary of the ROCKWOOL Group, specialised in industrial insulation solutions for the energy, marine, offshore and manufacturing industries.
You will be part of the Branding & Marketing Communications team and report to the Head of Branding & Marketing Communications. The team is international and working closely together with colleagues working with business development, product management and marketing across the ROCKWOOL Group – including digital marketing.
What you will be doingWe are investing significantly in our digital customer journey and are looking for an experienced digital specialist profile who can drive both digital lead generation strategy and implementation.
You will join as an established expert and work closely with our existing digital marketing colleague, who manages our website, email marketing and other digital tools and campaigns. Together, you ensure that our digital platforms are continuously optimised to provide a great user experience and drive traffic, engagement and high-quality leads.
You will work hands-on with tools such as:
- Marketing automation (Marketo)
- CRM (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Google paid and LinkedIn sponsored campaigns
- Dashboards and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Power BI)
We expect you to be passionate about performance across channels, be able to interpret data and translate insights into concrete, corrective actions – and to stay on top of digital trends and behaviour.
In this role, you will:
- Create, drive and implement our digital lead generation strategy
- Develop the digital customer journey and build/implement inbound marketing activities
- Analyse data to understand performance and recommend improvements
- Create, maintain and improve digital dashboards for KPI tracking – you should genuinely enjoy working with data, Excel and pivot tables
- Cooperate closely with digital colleagues as well as manage external global marketing agencies
- Plan and project manage digital campaigns in close collaboration with marketing colleagues
- Work with marketing communications and product managers to secure engaging, value-adding content
We are a lean team, so you must enjoy hands-on operational tasks as much as strategic work.
What you bringYou are an experienced B2B digital marketing expert with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to take campaigns from strategic concept to operational execution. You are used to working closely with agencies and internal stakeholders and you are motivated by driving digital change in a traditional, technical industry.
We imagine that you:
- Hold a master’s degree in digital marketing or similar
- Have 10+ years of experience in B2B digital marketing from an international company
- Have solid experience with Google Analytics, CMS and marketing automation – ideally Marketo and Microsoft Dynamics – as well as SEM and SEO
- Have worked for an agency and/or are used to managing agencies on B2B digital advertising, especially Google Paid and LinkedIn sponsored campaigns
- Are a strong project manager who can prioritise, manage tasks simultaneously as well as delegate to other to keep deadlines
- Have an international mindset, enjoy some travel and can work flexibly with colleagues in other time zones (e.g. sometimes take meetings in the evening)
- Are fluent in English, written and spoken
