You will report to: Marketing Director and manage 1 team member.

Location: Bucharest. 1 day per week remote working possibility

Area of responsibility: The Digital Marketing Manager will lead and execute the digital marketing strategy across Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, and Cyprus.

 You will be  responsible for driving lead generation, improving conversion rates, and introducing new tools and technologies that optimise the customer journey. The position requires close collaboration with local business units, the regional branding and communications team, product management, commercial teams, technical teams and ROCKWOOL Group Marketing to ensure consistent and impactful execution.
This is the role

  • Develop and implement multichannel digital marketing campaigns tailored to regional market dynamics, with a focus on generating high quality leads for both B2B and B2C audiences

  • Establish clear lead qualification criteria and work closely with sales teams to ensure effective handover and nurturing through our CRM.

  • Continuously optimise conversion funnels across web, landing pages, forms, and digital tools to improve customer acquisition efficiency

  • Monitor competitor activity and adapt lead generation tactics to maintain ROCKWOOL’s competitive edge.

  • Identify, test, and implement new martech solutions (e.g., integration of martech with CRM systems, marketing automation, new trends, etc) to increase campaign precision and scalability.

  • Introduce and manage tools that enhance customer journey mapping, lead scoring, and personalisation.

  • Build business cases for digital innovation projects, ensuring ROI and alignment with both regional and Group strategies.

  • Foster a culture of experimentation, piloting new campaign formats, ad tech, and digital tools before scaling across the region.

  • Translate customer and market insights into engaging digital campaigns

  • Ensure digital content (web, video, social, e-mail, thought leadership pieces) is optimised for SEO/SEM and aligned with brand positioning.

  • Coordinate with branding and communication teams to deliver culturally relevant, market specific campaigns.

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a regional digital marketing team to deliver excellence and innovation.

  • Build capability in key digital areas such as analytics, paid media, content optimisation, and automation.

  • Set clear objectives, performance standards, and development plans for the team.

  • Foster cross-country collaboration and knowledge sharing to leverage best practices across the region.

  • Partner with the Branding & Communications department to design fully integrated marketing program that combine brand storytelling with lead generation.

  • Ensure alignment with ROCKWOOL Group Marketing, adopting global frameworks while tailoring execution to local needs.

  • Act as the key digital marketing liaison for the region, ensuring consistency in reporting, governance, and compliance with Group standards.

  • Collaborate with sales, technical, and product management teams to ensure campaigns reflect business priorities and customer needs.

  • Deliver regular performance reports and insights to senior leadership, highlighting impact on sales pipelines and ROI.

  • Apply data-driven insights to optimise budget allocation and channel strategy.

  • Lead quarterly reviews of digital performance to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for growth.

  • Stay up to date with market trends, digital behaviour, and regulatory changes

  • Conduct customer journey analysis to identify pain points and opportunities for digital solutions.

  • Integrate feedback from customers, dealers, and stakeholders to refine campaigns and improve engagement.

  • Benchmark regional performance against other ROCKWOOL regions to ensure competitiveness.

This is who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 5–7 years of proven experience in digital marketing, preferably in B2B/B2C construction, manufacturing, or related industries.

  • Strong track record of delivering measurable results in lead generation and conversion optimisation.

  • Experience with digital tools and martech platforms (e.g., Marketo, CRM, marketing automation, analytics).

  • Leadership experience managing cross-functional or regional teams.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluency in Romanian and English; additional regional languages are an advantage.

  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.

  • Data-driven and results-oriented.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and influencing skills.

  • Ability to manage complex projects across multiple countries and cultures.

  • Creative, innovative mindset with a drive to introduce new ideas and solutions
