As part of eHealth’s transformation, we are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to support a variety of products and audiences. Our ideal candidate will possess knowledge of SEM techniques in the direct-to-consumer space, and have experience working in close collaboration with strategy, SEO and product teams. Reporting to the Director of Paid and Organic Search, this person will have experience in all facets of creating SEM campaigns including setting up campaigns and ad group, implementing ad copy, optimizing keywords, ensuring campaign tracking is working and monitoring campaign performance. The Digital Marketing Manager should bring an analytical skill set, audience-obsession for creating motivating and relevant messages, intellectual curiosity to challenge status quo with new marketing practices and a track record of delivering superior results.

The Digital Marketing Manager can be based anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex, large-scale SEM campaigns including keyword research and expansion, ad copy creation, campaign performance tracking, testing and landing page optimization, in coordination with broader marketing team.
  • In coordination with audience strategy teams, develop SEM strategies and consumer journeys to acquire audiences in our growth businesses for Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplemental, Individual & Family, Small Business and Multicultural.
  • Lead all stages of copy creation including partnering with the agency to write copy, maintain ad copy decks and manage filings with legal/compliance.
  • Drive creative excellence on a/b creative testing, ad rotations, ad rank improvements and lead the internal ad copy approval process.
  • Partner with marketing audience strategy and product teams on landing page improvements and testing for paid search across each stage of the journey.
  • Conduct deep dive analysis on SEM opportunities to drive efficiencies and growth. 
  • Set, track, monitor and optimize against annual and quarterly budget
  • Analyze and assess the performance of online advertising campaigns and translate quantitative and qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the campaign strategy.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to react to changes quickly and decisively.
  • Gather customer data from internal data teams to better segment and target personalized messaging to our audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience managing large scale, multi-million-dollar SEM campaigns with a demonstrable track record of success.
  • Hands on experience with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Experience with SQL and data feeds a plus. 
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross functional partners at all levels and ability to clearly communicating technical messages to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical acumen.
  • Strong organization and project management.
  • Experience and comfort working in an entrepreneurial environment, operating at a fast pace and fluid nature to adapt the changing needs of the consumer, the regulatory environment, and the business.
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable giving short presentations and reporting data analysis to different audiences.

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes an annual performance bonus, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness.
