We are seeking a Digital Marketing Intern for a four-month term designed to provide authentic, hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. 
We recognize that balancing professional growth with academic responsibilities is a challenge. We offer a hybrid work model at $14.00 per hour with a flexible schedule of up to 29 hours per week. We offer flexibility around your academic commitments; whether you have morning lectures or afternoon labs, we will coordinate your schedule within our business hours (Monday–Friday, 7 AM–7 PM) to ensure your work fits seamlessly into your life.
In this role, you will gain direct experience optimizing web content for search engines (SEO) and assisting in the strategic development of social media campaigns by working on meaningful, high-priority projects. Day-to-Day:

  • Optimize on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking).
  • Help identify and fix technical SEO issues (broken links, redirects, crawl errors).
  • Assist in creating or updating content to align with SEO best practices.
  • Monitor rankings and traffic using analytics tools and compile simple reports.
  • Assist in measuring the effectiveness of specific SEO strategies by reporting from a variety of sources (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Majestic, SEMRush, Ahrefs, etc.).
  • Draft and schedule social media posts for platforms like LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook and Instagram.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush and Google Search Console.
  • Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, clicks) and compile simple reports.
  • Engage in a positive and productive team environment by assisting with shared goals and taking initiative on group projects.
  • Provide additional support to the team as needed to contribute to the overall success of the department and company.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with basic SEO concepts and social media platforms.
  • Comfortable working with tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
    Detail-oriented, proactive and eager to learn.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with others – a team player.
