Job Description

Parts Town UK are seeking an experienced and driven Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Specialist to join our team and make an impact in the ever-evolving world of marketing.

As Digital Marketing and E-Commerce specialist you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all digital platforms for the business from a “front-end” sales, marketing and customer experience perspective. You’ll drive our online presence, manage e-commerce platforms, and execute digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and boost sales.

Proactively leading initiatives for the website, search marketing, app(s), email marketing and any other relevant digital platforms to provide a consistently engaging customer experience; and responsible for research & development of new online marketing strategies, managing relevant developers & suppliers, data analysis & reporting. 

This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and technical expertise to optimise our online channels and offers an excellent opportunity for a talented and innovative individual to contribute to the success of our fast-growing company.

Previous experience in digital marketing and e-commerce and a passion for marketing is essential.

What you’ll do:

  • Translate sales and marketing goals into digital strategies, focusing on growth and return on investment (ROI).
  • Drive innovation in digital channels, developing and executing new ideas to enhance search marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the marketing content team, to analyse and improve content marketing performance across various channels (email, SMS, social media, blog, video, etc.).
  • Enhance digital marketing efforts for our marketplace sales portals, including online reviews, feedback, and competitive analysis.
  • Report to the Head of Marketing on key performance metrics related to ecommerce platforms and digital campaigns, including customer demographics, segmentation, SEO rankings, and ROI from PPC campaigns.
  • Promote the adoption of our website and app to drive online business growth.
  • Develop innovative features for digital platforms, ensuring alignment between front-end marketing efforts and back-end IT operations.
  • Plan and coordinate the implementation of digital channels to meet sales, marketing, and customer experience objectives.
  • Optimise conversion rates and user experience (UX) through continuous usability testing and market research, using insights to improve online sales.
  • Stay updated on the latest digital marketing techniques and technologies to maintain leadership in the industry.


Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Proficiency with e-commerce platforms, marketing tools and CMS platforms such as Magento, WordPress, AI portals etc
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, and digital advertising strategies.
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and social media analytics.
  • Effective organisational and multitasking skills, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and compelling analysis and recommendations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including excel and powerpoint.

  • Previous experience in a wholesale or B2B setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
