Digital Map Designer

At Gozio, we’re redefining the meaning of patient experience in health systems across the U.S. Our mobile platform offers a single point of access for everything a patient or visitor needs, including telehealth, medical records, physician appointments and reminders, and indoor navigation and wayfinding. We help take the stress out of visits to the hospital.

Gozio is seeking a Digital Map Designer to help build our rapidly-growing platform. This role is based out of our Atlanta Armour Yards offices (between Buckhead and Midtown). Previous experience in healthcare is not required, but a high level of curiosity, a demonstrated history of continuous learning and a bias for action are required.

Must Have:

• 7-10 years digital drafting experience required, using CAD programs such as AutoCad
• Identify key features in existing floor plans and convert those floor plans into a digital map format 
• Inventory client-supplied maps and identify missing areas, buildings, floors, cross-building connections and parking
• Identify and assign attributes to map features to allow 3-D rendering of interior spaces
• Interpretation of onsite markups to digital maps (adding walls, furniture, etc.)
• Ensure that the resulting digital maps meet our quality and aesthetic standards
• Participate in client-site walk-through prep and recap sessions
• Comfortable using mobile technology, IOS and Android smartphones, and tablets
• Outstanding organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

Bonus Skills:

• Visualization skills (looking at 2D images and visualizing 3D space) 
• Interior design experience (office furniture layout)
• Good practical experience with Microsoft Office
• BA/BS degre
