We’re currently seeking a skilled Microsoft Identity Architect to design, implement, and manage Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) solutions. This role is pivotal in securing enterprise identity infrastructure and enabling seamless access across cloud and hybrid environments. Suitable candidates for this role must currently have or be able to obtain UK SC clearance and must be located in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and Design Entra ID tenants, including user, group, and application management
Design, implement and support SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
Integrate SaaS and on-prem applications using SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect
Automate identity operations using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API
Monitor sign-in activity, audit logs, and resolve identity-related issues
Collaborate with InfoSec teams on identity governance and zero-trust strategies
Support lifecycle processes (Joiner/Mover/Leaver) using tools like MIM or SailPoint
Qualifications an experience:
Proven track record in Identity and wider Microsoft disciplines
Extensive experience of Entra ID and Active Directory
Strong knowledge of IAM protocols and security principles
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Graph API
Wider Security knowledge and qualifications e.g. MSc/CISSP/CISM
Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300) preferred
