About the Role
Harman is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Graphic Designer with experience in consumer electronics, technology, or automotive industries. As part of the Brand Communications Design team within Huemen (Harman’s Global Design Division), you’ll help shape creative output across a diverse portfolio of brands.
You’ll collaborate with designers and marketers to deliver compelling, culturally relevant work across campaigns, brand activations, and multi-channel platforms—including web, email, social media, video, print, retail, and presentations. This role blends creativity with strategy, supporting both B2B and B2C initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Execute high-quality designs across web, email, social, video, print, retail, and presentations.
- Apply brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all creative assets.
- Translate marketing messages into visually engaging designs that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive campaign visuals.
- Balance large-scale campaign work with quick-turn design needs.
- Present and advocate for your creative concepts, incorporating feedback effectively.
What You Need to be Successful:
- Expertise in 2D digital and print graphic design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop as well as Figma and PowerPoint.
- Basic skills in motion/video tools (After Effects, Premiere, or similar) and familiarity with 3D software (Cinema4D, Blender, etc.).
- Strong foundation in typography, layout, color theory, and composition across print and digital.
- Experience designing collateral such as brochures, posters, packaging, and press-ready files.
- UX/UI design familiarity: wireframes, prototypes, responsive design, and accessibility best practices.
- Ability to translate messages into effective creative across all media (web, print, video, social, etc.).
- Conceptual and strategic thinking, with originality and cultural awareness.
- Exhibit excellent communication and emotional intelligence in stakeholder interactions, ensuring alignment on feedback and flexibility in incorporating it into design solutions.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple projects in fast-changing environments.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a dedicated work ethic to ensure high-quality outcomes and reliable, on-time delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience (including internships or freelance).

- A passion for music and the ability to put it into words
- Industry experience in consumer electronics is a plus.
What Makes You Eligible:
- Ability to work onsite in NYC 1–2 times per week
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
