Purpose of this Role:
To take a technical lead role in the delivery of digital transformation initiatives, operating as a core member of a Both& Delivery Pod. This role owns the end-to-end engineering of digital solutions, from facilitating process discovery and requirements gathering through to configuring, developing, and deploying scalable low-code and no-code technology solutions. The Digital Engineer is equally accountable for the adoption of what they build, ensuring that technology delivers measurable ROI for clients and for Both&. This role sits at the intersection of Process (30%), Technology (30%), People (25%), and Financial (15%) accountability, and candidates must be genuinely capable and motivated across all four dimensions.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with client stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solution designs
- Present process maps and proposed solutions to client stakeholders with clarity and confidence
- Manage client relationships on allocated projects, building trust through delivery quality and proactive communication
- Support project management activities as required across active delivery pods
- Designing and configuring no-code and low-code systems
- Write scalable code and/or scripts
- Testing workflows and support implementation by unlocking ROI through user adoption facilitation
- Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and maintaining them over time
- Maintain clear and professional written and verbal communication throughout all client engagements
Requirements
- Strong process mapping and business analysis capability
- Proficiency in no-code platforms (e.g. Zoho, ServiceNow, Odoo, Monday.com, Notion, Hubspot, or similar) — required
- Low-code development skills including scripting (e.g. Deluge, JavaScript, Python basics) — required
- Solid understanding of data architecture and data management principles
- Data analysis skills, with the ability to derive insights and inform decisions
- Systems thinking and design thinking capability
- Clear, professional, multi-format communication (written, verbal, visual)
- Strong research and independent problem-solving skills
- UI/UX design sensibility - able to build solutions that are intuitive and human-centred
- Understanding of agile ways of working and sprint-based delivery
- Relevant Degree in Engineering or Computer Science only
- Proven track record of building, automating, or digitising real-world business processes
- Related work experience is non-negotiable
