The 'Sentinel' Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Program will replace the aging Minuteman III (MMIII) ICBM, the first of its kind in over 50 years. This program is considered a "mega-project" and one of the most complex in the history of the Department of Defense. The new ICBM weapon system acquisition effort brings with it the newest digital engineering tools and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices to meet existing warfighter requirements, while having the adaptability and flexibility to affordably address changing technology and threat environments through 2075. As part of the U.S. Air Force's Integration Support Contract (ISC), BAE Systems provides Advisory and Assistance Services in the areas of engineering, logistics, management, scientific analysis, and other subject matter expertise to augment and optimize management of the Sentinel ICBM Prime Contractor.
The Role
BAE Systems, Inc. Infrastructure and Deployment Division is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee division-wide management of Digital Ecosystems. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development, implementation, and sustainment of various digital systems, including both off-the-shelf and custom digital products, acting as the lead for management of stakeholder requirements, enhancements, and integration. The ideal candidate has a drive to further innovate and collaborate, as well as exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Manage the design, planning, development, and successful launch of applications, features and enhancements to custom and off-the-shelf digital products
• Oversee project life cycle of application development
• Develop and finalize cost estimates, project schedule, and design tasks
• Prepare and present project-related information to program leads
• Ensure appropriate data management and integration
• Oversee workload planning including resources needed to achieve project goals
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
• Schedule and lead brainstorming activities surrounding development functionality
• Explore new technologies that can be applied to solve challenging program initiatives
• Provide division-wide administration of Jira and Confluence systems
• Track and manage multiple systems access requirements for all division personnel and external stakeholders

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• 7+ years of experience (or 5 years with MS) in a technical discipline
• Experience leading multiple, concurrent project teams
• Working knowledge of SQL, HTML, Java Script, Python, JIRA, and Confluence,
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across organizations, technical expertise, and leadership levels
• Project management experience with software development
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced matrix environment supporting multiple project leads
• Ability to effectively communicate, assign, and evaluate tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Proficiency with developing reports including pivot tables, charts, and spreadsheets
• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Logistics, Computer Science, Environmental, or GIS field
• Capable of providing innovative digital solutions
• Experience in React Framework and a solid understanding of Geographic Information Systems and GIS data sets
• CBM field experience
• Active Secret (or higher) security clearance

Full-Time Salary Range: $75510 - $128340

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
