Job Summary
News12 is seeking a creative and talented Digital Graphic Artist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design and produce visually compelling graphics and animations for our network, website, social media channels, streaming platforms, and sales and advertising materials across all Altice USA News services. Your expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and graphic design tools will be instrumental in delivering modern, elegant, and impactful visuals for News12's channels, including our OTT platforms. This position is based in Bethpage, NY.
Responsibilities

• Collaborate with producers, writers, and designers to create cohesive content across multiple platforms.
• Design and develop digital assets, including style sheets, end frames, social media posts and templates, presentations, and promotional elements.
• Assist with digital content creation, production design, UI elements, and lower thirds.
• Maintain and enhance the station's overall visual appearance and brand identity.
• Participate in planning meetings to prepare graphics for upcoming assignments.
• Stay informed on current events and emerging media technologies to create timely and relevant designs.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital design, preferably in television or media production.
• A strong portfolio or reel showcasing your work (required for consideration).
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is a plus.
• Exceptional artistic ability and expertise in computer graphics tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of social media, YouTube and other digital platform graphic formats.
• Strong ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize in a fast-paced news environment.
• Collaborative nature with the ability to work with people from teams across the organization. (Marketing, Digital, Sales).

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $52,685.00 - $86,554.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
