Digital Design Engineer
The Industrial and Healthcare Business Unit at Analog Devices is seeking an experienced Digital Designer to join the Healthcare Vital Signals Monitoring (VSM) Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMIC) group. The successful candidate will work in a cross-cultural environment within the Mixed Signal IC design team, collaborating with application and test engineers, firmware and software developers. They will play a proactive role in developing ICs according to system requirements and contributing innovative technical solutions for the company's next product offerings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Understand the VSM PMIC ICs architecture, leveraging on Analog and Digital partitioning to design optimal Digital Control blocks, mixed signal interfaces and application specific algorithms
- Own the academic pre-requisites to effectively learn corporate and state-of-the-art design and verification methodologies to meet functional, low power, timing and quality specifications
- MS degree in Electronics/Computer science
- Knowledge of Low Power Digital Design techniques.
- Knowledge of Digital Design main blocks and architecture
- Knowledge in developing timing constraints, logic synthesis, and Static Timing Analysis
- Knowledge of Design For Testability (DFT) concepts
- Understanding of standard serial (I2C/SPI) and on-chip (APB/AHB) interfaces
- Knowledge of C++ or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Knowledge of Processor/SoC architecture fundamentals.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, presentation and technical documentation skills
- Self-motivated and driven to continually improve
