If you are a current employee, please navigate here to apply internally.The Web Content Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing website content across Zurn Elkay’s digital platforms. This is a hands-on role focused on working within a Content Management System (CMS) to update, structure, and improve web pages to enhance SEO performance and user experience.
This role requires experience owning website content, applying on-page SEO best practices, and using data to inform content improvements. The position partners closely with Marketing, Product, and Digital teams, and requires strong writing and editing skills to ensure content is clear, accurate, and effective.
Key ResponsibilitiesWebsite Content Management & Optimization
- Own day-to-day updates and maintenance of website content within CMS (AEM or similar)
- Create, edit, and optimize web pages including landing pages, product pages, and help center content
- Identify and improve underperforming or outdated pages using SEO and UX best practices
- Ensure consistency in content structure, formatting, and taxonomy across the website
- Apply on-page SEO techniques including keyword optimization, metadata, and internal linking
SEO & Performance Improvement
- Use tools such as Google Analytics and SEO platforms to evaluate content performance
- Monitor page performance and identify opportunities to improve traffic, engagement, and conversion
- Partner with SEO team to implement keyword strategies and content improvements
- Support ongoing content testing and optimization efforts
Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner with Product Marketing and Digital teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of web content
- Support new product launches and site updates through content creation and updates
- Maintain and improve Help Center and support content
- 3+ years of experience managing and optimizing website content within a CMS (WordPress, AEM, Sitecore, etc.)
- Proven experience improving website content using SEO or performance data
- Strong writing and editing skills for web-based content
- Experience working with tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar
Preferred:
- Experience in B2B or product-driven environments
- Familiarity with AEM or similar enterprise CMS
