ABOUT YOU:

You’re a creative storyteller with a sharp eye for visuals and a finely tuned ear for audio. You thrive on crafting high-energy, engaging content that resonates across digital platforms. Equally fluent in video and audio editing tools, you know how to tailor content for streaming radio, podcasts, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and the web. Fast-paced production excites you—you’re detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of juggling multiple edits without sacrificing quality.

YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)

  • Edit short- and long-form video for YouTube, Reels, TikTok, and social platforms
  • Edit audio content, episodes or interviews with clean audio, sharp cuts, and relevant visuals
  • Create promotional clips from long-form content for social media
  • Add motion graphics, captions, music, and sound effects to enhance storytelling
  • Collaborate with producers, social editors, and creative leads to align on content goals
  • Maintain a consistent look and feel across branded content
  • Organize and archive all project files and assets efficiently
  • Deliver edits quickly, with multiple rounds of feedback when needed
  • Stay current on platform specs, editing trends, and audience engagement best practices
  • Occasionally assist in shoots or recordings, either in-person or remotely

YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)

  • 3–5+ years of editing experience in digital video and/or podcasting
  • Mastery of tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and audio tools like ProTools or Adobe Audition
  • Solid understanding of social media algorithms, content trends, and platform-specific storytelling
  • Strong visual storytelling and sound design instincts
  • Skilled in motion graphics, color correction, and audio balancing
  • Basic camera and lighting knowledge is a plus
  • Clear communicator with the ability to self-manage and prioritize
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a strong plus for Latinx-focused content
