The Analyst, Digital Commerce Marketing is helping to implement the Digital Commerce Strategic Roadmap for Colgate-Palmolive's key Home and Personal Care brands. The main mission of this role is to assist in leading tactical brand priorities to help drive Omni commerce marketing strategic plans and driving excellence at digital shelf (ratings & reviews, availability, search, content). The position requires consistent cross-functional collaboration with brand marketing, sales, IBE, retail marketing, finance and supply chain. Projects handled will have a direct impact on the annual planning process and digital commerce P&L.
Primary Responsibilities
- Help Drive Holistic Digital Commerce Category Strategic Plan:
- Use data and analytics to help identify and handle digital commerce growth opportunities, including where to win, how to win and when to win
- Provide support in digital portfolio management: unlocking PPA growth opportunities for brands, influencing innovation pipeline (short-term & long-term opportunities to drive growth), collaborating with brand on portfolio simplification
- Drive monthly and quarterly team process: supervise business performance and digital shelf health to advise action recommendation to achieve goals
- Monitor emerging trends across the digital ecosystem and identify emerging opportunities
- Digital Commerce Analysis
- Use analytics tools to supervise and evaluate digital commerce performance metrics across major online retail platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, and Target.
- Analyze customer journey data to identify friction points and opportunities for improving the online shopping experience.
- Master Digital Shelf Health
- Help to define priority & focused product assortment
- Lead Ratings & Review strategy, performance tracking and extracting its value to advise product / content optimization
- Supervise and help maintain digital shelf health and identify gaps & opportunities to be addressed, including content, etc.
- Collaborate with content team to define category priorities and to ensure detailed execution aligned to brand strategies, and performance monitoring
- Digital Commerce Capability Building
- Champion Omni commerce mentality among brand teams and ensure that Omni is integrated in Go To Market plans
- Cultivate test & learn attitude
- Develop and share learning series around digital commerce including digital landscape
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years of experience in digital/eCommerce space
- Outstanding project management skills
- Detail oriented, reliable and resourceful
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $91 000,00 - $128 000,00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:
- Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
- Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
- Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
- Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
- Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
- Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
