As a Business Analyst within our Digital Client Services (DCS) Product Team, you will spend each day defining, refining, and delivering data-driven products that improve operational performance and client experience. You will play a key role in the development of SONIC, our client analytics platform, by partnering with stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights and measurable business outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and data owners to identify, define, and deliver key metrics that measure operational performance and client experience.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, risks, issues, and data flows to support product delivery.
  • Perform business and data analysis to uncover trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Define and maintain data taxonomy, business rules, and data requirements across functional teams.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support strategic decision-making.
  • Create rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate solutions and accelerate product development.
  • Generate data-driven insights through historical analysis, trend identification, and performance measurement.
  • Collaborate with business, operations, technology, and design teams to deliver innovative client service solutions.
  • Partner with AI/ML and data science teams to enhance analytics capabilities and product offerings.
  • Support end-to-end product delivery, testing, implementation, and change management activities.
  • Influence stakeholders and drive successful deployment of analytics products across global teams.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial services organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience translating business needs into data-driven solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience using Alteryx and Tableau for analytics and visualization.
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills with experience querying and analyzing large datasets.
  • Experience performing business analysis, data mining, and data interpretation.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to build trusted partnerships and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience supporting product delivery, experimentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Experience with Python or R for analytics, automation, or statistical analysis.
  • Exposure to AI and Machine Learning concepts and working with data science teams.
  • Experience in rapid prototyping, experimental design, or agile product development environments.
  • Knowledge of client experience measurement and service performance analytics.
  • Familiarity with data architecture, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience developing analytics products or business intelligence solutions.
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative or business-related discipline is a plus.
