ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Colleague & Capability
- Define, standardize, amplify and scale digital capabilities across the broader digital & technology global network.
- Work collaboratively across all site-based digital functions, leveraging our collective digital capabilities and showcasing and engaging talent across all functions.
- Lead and develop site teams, promoting a customer-first and innovation-driven mindset.
- In partnership with global and local PX/CX and line leaders, inform and execute strategies that attract, retain and grow talent at the Chennai site. Ensure focus on building diverse and inclusive teams.
- Promote Pfizer Values, ensure consistency of practice and policy, actively encourage and facilitate the open-door policy and a speak up culture
- Sponsor and lead colleague engagement efforts with continued focus on creating a thriving Digital community, execute engagement programs, and influence globally to ensure focus on priorities.
- Advance colleague skills and development in partnership with Global L&D, PX, DLT, and line managers. Champion opportunities for colleagues growth, exposure, mentorship, and increased impact globally.
Site & Community Leadership
- Maintain and amplify Chennai site culture, championing and enabling a collaborative, engaged, and high performing digital community.
- Plan and execute site wide engagement, learning, and community events and communications. Partner with all appropriate global and local teams to drive this work.
- Serve as the primary representative for the site in global and regional forums.
- Align site objectives with corporate strategy and long-term goals.
- Drive cultural initiatives and foster employee engagement.
Operational Management
- Oversee all site operations, including logistics, compliance, and safety.
- Oversee ~$20m site budgets & ~200 matrixed resources effectively
- Ensure site adherence to regulatory, quality, and security standards.
- Oversee operational activities related to the Chennai site. Act as aprimary point of contact for Site Continuity related matters and oversees site security and crisis management. Partner with business leaders across functions on site continuity plans.
Stakeholder & Community Engagement
- Cultivate key relationships and engagements in partnership with Country Managers, local vendor partners, and local Governmental organizations via visits and other events and conferences.
- Act as the key liaison on site related matters with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Partner with local stakeholders to ensure one Pfizer approach across country when needed, internally and externally, eg. Policies implementation, global initiatives, government regulations, external stakeholders, etc.
- Represent the site in community initiatives and maintain a positive local presence .
- Maintain and grow Pfizer Chennai brand, Promote "One Pfizer" culture across Chennai and other Pfizer sites.
- Organize and execute site-wide events with senior leaders (ELT, DLT, etc.) as well as government officials, community stakeholders, business leaders, and University officials.
- Establish and maintain external community partnerships, engaging Pfizer Chennai colleague in volunteer events.
- Partner with Universities to collaborate and source innovation, digital research, and talent pipeline. Continue to amplify Pfizer brand as a world leader in digital innovation via technology conferences, interviews, media events and presentations.
Digital & Process Excellence
- Define and drive "Digital for Digital" efforts to continually embed AI and other technology innovations into how work gets done in Digital. Develop ideas, challenge status quo, incubate new concepts, and scale across Digital globally
- Champion a 'Customer 0' and 'AI first' mindset, foster an environment focusedon continuous improvement, digital adoption and automation.
- Monitor performance metricsand implement best practices for efficiency and sustainability.
- Continue to build delivery excellence with cost effective, agile, high value solution and service delivery. Champion "agile" and "product" mindset with focus on outcomes. Drive continued simplification and seamless integration of GCC and Chennai site into the Digital Operating Model.
