Job Title: Digital (BIM) Coordinator - Entry Level

Overview:
As a Digital (BIM) Coordinator at Ramboll, you will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary digital information and ensuring adherence to the Digital Delivery Plan across all disciplines involved in the project. This position serves as a foundational role for individuals with a blend of technical skills and the aspiration to contribute to digital project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Digital Design Manager and project managers in developing and maintaining project Digital Delivery Plans.
- Outline and coordinate common digital setup processes required for projects, such as geo-locations, templates, and project-specific guides.
- Oversee the creation, management, and maintenance of Building Information Models (BIM) to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Assist the Digital Design Manger with the communication and collaboration among project teams, ensuring effective sharing of BIM data and resources, and adherence to established project Digital Delivery Plans. This includes assisting in clash detection, and quality checks across various technical areas within the project.
- Facilitate the use of design software and provide support for digital tools, ensuring the project teams have the necessary digital competences through training.
- Set up and maintain federated 3d coordination models for internal and external use.
- Coordinate digital design files, templates, and object libraries to support the project execution.
- Compile discipline models and drawings from external stakeholders and distribute them to the internal project team using a common data environment (CDE).
- Support the design team by implementing Ramboll and project-specific standards.
- Assist the Digital Design Manager and Project manager with cross-discipline digital coordination meetings, addressing any issues with responsible disciplines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a relevant technical curriculum, with 0-2+ years of experience.
- Competency with design software tools such as AutoCAD and REVIT.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within diverse teams.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is a plus.
- Autodesk Certification in Revit and ACC is a plus.
- Experience with Navisworks for project review and coordination tasks is a plus.
- Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Inventor and Plant 3D is a plus.
- Previous experience with digital projects or BIM coordination is beneficial.
