Dietician

Location: Ovation Communities — Jewish Home & Care Center
Ovation Communities is seeking a Dietician to assume professional responsibility and accountability for the nutritional health of residents in collaboration with the director of Food Services and Nursing Home Administrator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete and update dietary assessments to identify residents’ nutritional needs and risks.
- Conduct interviews with residents, families, and representatives to develop individualized care plans that respect preferences and rights.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
- Attend care conferences and communicate resident progress, concerns, and responses to interventions.
- Complete discharge summaries in a timely manner.
- Perform nutritional assessments for assisted living residents as needed.

QualificationsExperience: Two years’ professional work experience in an institutional health care setting
Education: A bachelor's or graduate degree in nutrition or dietetics
Licenses & Certifications: Registered Dietician by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
