Shift: 7:00am-2:30pm, rotating weekends
About the Role:
We’re seeking a compassionate, team-oriented Dietary Assistant to join our Dining Services Department. In this role, you'll support meal preparation and service, assist residents with their dietary needs, and help maintain a clean, safe dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation and serving residents
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen, and dish room
- Set and sanitize dining tables; deliver room trays as needed
- Follow dietary guidelines and safety standards
- Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
- Positive attitude and ability to relate well to seniors
- Previous food service experience preferred
- Must follow all health and safety regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of food safety (ServeSafe certification a plus)
- CPR/First Aid training preferred

Linden Square is an MDHHS-licensed assisted living and memory care community in Saline, Michigan. Since 2013, it has provided personalized care, including medication management, daily meals, and housekeeping, within a welcoming one-story environment. Its mission is to provide a comfortable, supportive living option for seniors through tailored care plans and a variety of amenities, serving residents in Saline and the surrounding Ann Arbor area.
