Dietary Aide | Elm Crest Senior Living Community | Harlan, IA
Do you enjoy helping others and creating a positive dining experience? Elm Crest Senior Living Community is seeking a full-time Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you'll support meal service operations and help ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a welcoming environment.
Our kitchen operates from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week, and team members must be available to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare dining areas before meal service
- Assist with serving food and beverages to residents and guests
- Transport meals to residents when needed
- Support kitchen staff with food preparation tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining and food service areas
- Assist with dishwashing, stocking, and other kitchen duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work a flexible schedule within operating hours
- Availability for weekend and holiday shifts
- Reliable attendance and strong customer service skills
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or dining services
- Experience working in a healthcare, senior living, or rehabilitation setting
